Dear Photograph,
As I look at my sisters and I back in earlier years, I realize it was true, we did have happy times. It makes me sad that we aren’t together anymore, but having this photo is a sweet reminder and that alone will always warm my heart.

Dear Photograph,
Balboa Park… I got engaged here, married here and now I’m alone again. But when I come to sit on these steps once more, I remember my parents had very little, and yet they made our childhood rich with fond memories. That is what keeps smiling.

Dear Photograph,
Thank you for giving my husband one more time to hold his grandmother in his arms. She passed away before we could get to her side in Costa Rica.

Dear Photograph,
You won’t be home for Christmas, anymore. Without you here, it just won’t be the same, but we will fill your house with new memories of our own. I love you mom, thank you for making me the man I am today.
Love, Steve

Dear Photograph,
She was a senior when I was a freshman and she has been looking out for me ever since. Now she’s teaching my 2 boys at our old school …28 years later!

Dear Photograph,
Over the course of my life, you’ve taught me most of what I know… but of all the things we’ve built together, our unwavering friendship is by far my most cherished possession.

Dear Photograph,
It’s been 50 years since I wore that snowsuit, and so much has changed. Yet in many ways, it feels like so little has…just the way it should be.

Dear Photograph,
I will always believe in Santa Claus… maybe this year he could tell London and Lancaster that these sisters need to be reunited.

Dear Photograph,
You walked, hand in hand, to the chapel sixty three years ago, leaving behind the house grandma grew up in. How could you have known that to this day the family you started so long ago are so inspired by the love you shared with one another. We miss you Grampy!

Dear Photograph,
The look on my grandaughter’s faces when they found those little surprises tucked away in our Christmas tree still fills me up with so much joy.

Dear Photograph,
I know you didn’t ask for cancer to be on your Santa list this year, but all I want for Christmas is for you to stay strong and fight hard…just like you always taught me. You are so much stronger than any chemo Papa. Cancer is just another thing to cross off your list to beat. I love you so much.

Dear Photograph,
All I want for Christmas is for Daddy to walk through that door. He won’t be home for the holidays but when we ring in the New Year, I hope it brings him back home to all of us.
Miss you, Julie Ann

Dear Photograph,
Many years ago, having a snowday was everything and always unexpected. I sure could use one now!
